Who we are

Botta Coffee is a trade name of Botta Services LLC, an Atlanta, Georgia company. This policy covers the website, the Coffee Club, shop checkout, account portal, mobile applications when they are live, and related customer, distributor, and investor communications.

It does not cover third-party sites, app stores, payment pages, or carriers you reach through a link we do not control. Those providers have their own policies.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you place an order, join the Coffee Club, create or sign in to an account, apply as a distributor, contact us, or request investor information.

  • Identity and contact details such as name, email address, phone number, and shipping address
  • Order, subscription, delivery, refund, and customer support records
  • Account identifiers, authentication records, and password-reset activity
  • Distributor or investor information you choose to submit
  • Messages, attachments, and other content you send through forms

Information collected automatically

When you use the services, we and our processors may collect device, browser, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, referring URL, date and time, and diagnostic or security events. We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember cart or checkout state, measure performance, and protect accounts.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Botta Coffee does not store your full payment card number. Stripe receives payment and billing information under its own privacy terms. We receive limited payment metadata such as last four digits, card brand, payment status, and a customer or subscription identifier.

How we use information

  • Send transactional messages such as receipts, shipping updates, password resets, and service notices
  • Review distributor and investor access requests
  • Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms
  • Calculate shipping and applicable tax
  • Understand site performance and improve the customer experience
  • Comply with tax, accounting, food, and other legal obligations

How information is shared

We share information with vendors that help us operate the business, under instructions to use it only for that work. Categories include payment processing, cloud hosting, authentication, databases, analytics, shipping carriers, email delivery, and customer support tools. Current processors include Stripe and Firebase and related Google Cloud services.

We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, to protect our rights, customers, or the public, or as part of a merger, sale, or other business transaction.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information with third parties for their independent marketing.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, meet tax and legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and protect the business. Order, subscription, and tax records are typically kept for at least the period required by applicable law. Account records are kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period after closure.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encrypted transport and authenticated access to account records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for telling us if you suspect unauthorized use.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible personal information through our Contact page. You may also update some account details after you sign in. You may unsubscribe from marketing email if we send it. Transactional messages about orders, shipments, and the account cannot be turned off while you use those services.

Some records must be retained for legal, tax, fraud prevention, or transaction purposes. We may decline a request that is unfounded, excessive, or that would interfere with those obligations.

State privacy rights

If you are a resident of California or another state that grants additional privacy rights, you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of certain personal information, and to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information as those terms are defined by that law. We do not sell personal information. To exercise a right, use the Contact page and state the request and your state of residence. We will verify the request before acting on it.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Authorized agents may submit a request with proof of authority.

Children

Botta Coffee is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it as required.

International use

The services are operated from the United States. If you access them from another country, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
